# Intricate Marquetry Tables Emiliano Godoy Puts Extreme Details into His Work By Jamie Danielle Munro | Published 2014-04-04 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marquetry References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/design/emiliano-godoy-furniture-intricate-marquetry-work-04-03-2014/) & [emilianogodoy](http://www.emilianogodoy.com/) Emiliano Godoy is a talented designer who has been busy putting together his latest pieces: intricate [marquetry tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woodcarving-heritage). The detail on the tabletops is stunning, with no space being overlooked. According to DesignBoom, "all the wood comes from sustainably managed forests, and is finished with an eco-friendly, biodegradable and non-toxic oil sealer." With this in mind, you know the quality is extremely high for these marquetry tabletops by Godoy. Many houses have tables that give more function than decor to a room, but this design could completely turn that on its head. The table here could become a centrepiece, turning a bland surface into a piece of artwork normally only found in pictures hung on walls.
