# Pixelated Graffiti Mario Chalk Art By Cowbag | Published 2008-10-09 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mario-chalk-art-street-art-brick-by-brick References: [soompi](http://www.soompi.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=249378) The Mario Chalk Art is a genius idea and brilliantly simple. I wish I had though of it, but I didn’t, so I will have to write about someone else’s brilliant idea again. What I love about this is that it is really easy to do without messing up as you just use a brick for a pixel. The results are truly impressive. Being chalk, I guess these don’t last long, so catch them when you can and add them to flickr. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 42% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Pixelated Street Art:** Opportunities for disruptive innovation in creating permanent pixelated street art with innovative materials and techniques. - **Interactive Graffiti:** Using AR/VR technology to create interactive and immersive graffiti experiences for viewers. - **Eco-friendly Chalk Art:** Developing and promoting eco-friendly chalk art products and techniques to reduce environmental impact. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art Supplies:** Opportunities for disruptive innovation in developing new types of chalk for street art with longer-lasting effects. - **Tourism:** Creating street art tours and experiences for tourists to showcase the latest in pixelated street art for graffiti enthusiasts. - **Advertising:** Utilizing pixelated street art for innovative advertising campaigns that capture audience attention and engagement. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Video Game-Themed Pixel Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pixel-art-collection.md) - [Video Game-Inspired Hovercrafts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mario-kart-hovercraft.md) - [Confectionary-Inspired Chalks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sparkling-macaron-sidewalk-chalk.md) - [Mural Design Assistants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/art-by-squares.md) - [Global Pixel Canvas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wplace.md) - [Digital Graffiti NFTs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graffiti-wall-collection.md) - [Reimagined Puzzled Artful Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-of-a-woman-in-a-hat.md) - [Bubblegum Street Art Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hubbabubbabuilding.md) - [Animated Game-Inspired Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rainbow-road.md)
