Marintec China 2025 Sets New Benchmarks for the Industry

Marintec China 2025, a major international exhibition for the shipping and shipbuilding industries, concluded earlier this month in Shanghai. The event reportedly established new benchmarks for its scale and global representation.

Marintec China 2025 attracted over one hundred thousand industry professionals from more than one hundred nations, alongside exhibiting firms from forty different countries. Nearly 50% of those companies originated from outside China. The gathering spanned multiple specialized zones and forums, with key areas of focus including the transition to sustainable marine fuels and energy systems, the application of digital and autonomous technologies in shipping, and the design of modern cruise ship interiors.

Marintec China 2025 also debuted the #MarintecCares programme, "a comprehensive initiative designed to embed sustainability and social responsibility into every facet of the exhibition." Strategies included waste reduction and energy conservation within the venue.
