Upon further investigation, authorities learned that the elderly nuns had been taken advantage of by two men posing as gardeners. They uncovered about 30 full-grown plants in an enclosed [marijuana plantation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/growlab-organics) on the grounds of the nunnery. Police did not arrest the nuns and are currently searching for the gardeners. **Implications** - Can you imagine how lucky those guys felt when they scored this spot? Those poor nuns hadn’t a clue. Here’s to hoping they’re captured soon, there is nothing worse than taking advantage of a generous older woman. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Naughty](https://www.trendhunter.com/naughty) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Marijuana Cultivation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop automated systems for efficient and sustainable marijuana cultivation. - **Elder Abuse:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create technologies and services to protect vulnerable elderly individuals from abuse and exploitation. - **Law Enforcement Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design advanced tools and systems to aid law enforcement agencies in investigating and preventing illegal activities. ### Where This Applies - **Agriculture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Implement smart farming techniques and technologies to enhance the efficiency and productivity of agricultural practices. - **Elder Care:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop innovative solutions and services to provide better care and support for elderly individuals. - **Surveillance and Security:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create advanced surveillance and security systems to protect public and private spaces from illegal activities and trespassers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Women-Targeted Cannabis Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cannabis-retreat.md) - [Elderly Cannabis Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/im-high-right-now-campaign.md) - [Whimsically Branded Cannabis Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/angel-therapy.md) - [Women-Celebrating Cannabis Brands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/angel-therapy-cannabis.md) - [Celebratory Cannabis NFTs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/20-for-all.md) - [Cannabis-Friendly Modern Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/high-bar.md) - [Weed-Centric Women’s Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/women-of-weed.md) - [Island-Based Cannabis Farms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/growlab-organics.md) - [Metaverse Cannabis Shops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cannabis-shop.md)
