# Fantastical Collage Art Mariano Peccinetti Combines Different Components for a Dream-Like Feel By Riley von Niessen | Published 2016-09-06 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mariano-peccinetti References: [fubiz.net](http://www.fubiz.net/en/2016/09/06/enchanting-collage-compositions/) & [flickr](https://www.flickr.com/photos/trasvorder/with/19533880849/) Mariano Peccinetti, an artist who's based in Mendoza, Argentina, has a talent for creating collage art that's uniquely imaginative and captivating to look at. By intermingling aspects of reality with that of dreams, he generates pieces that straddle different hemispheres, prompting his viewers to become entranced with what they see. Examples of his work include a vintage-looking image of a man camping that's superimposed with an image of space -- displacing him to create a sense of loneliness when interpreted by the viewer. In other pieces, Mariano Peccinetti plays with the use of color -- often mixing bright components with dark black and white backdrops. Although he adjusts the expectations of what's possible, the way in which Mariano Peccinetti completes his collage art makes it appear seamless. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 62% | Activity: 23% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: South America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Collage Art Fusion:** Opportunity to create a new genre of art by mixing different styles to create a unique piece. - **Dream-reality Hybridization:** Opportunity to explore the interplay between dreams and reality to create new perspectives. - **Seamless Collage Art:** Opportunity to improve existing collage-making techniques to produce seamless collages. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art Industry:** Opportunity for art industry players to create new art forms and styles that capture the imagination of viewers. - **Graphic Design Industry:** Opportunity for graphic designers to incorporate collage art into publications and design projects. - **Advertising Industry:** Opportunity for advertisers to use collage art to convey emotionally rich storytelling in their campaigns. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Paper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Color-Blending Kinetic Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/felipe-pantone.md) - [Paper-Made Mosaic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/real-life-architecture-exhibition.md) - [Abstract Fantasy Home Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/abstract-fantasy-home.md) - [Vibrantly Colorful Dynamic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayla-rumpp.md)
