The remodeled home extends off the [original stone wall house](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-quinto-sol), framing it with clean-cut linear panels and decks. The interior is spacious and white, with the original [rock-clad walls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-coachella) peaking throughout the space. Exposed dark veneer beams add a masculine touch and sturdy visual to the otherwise breezy abode. Home owners and guests can enjoy a relaxing cocktail and morning stretch on the [sizable outdoor terrace](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-tres-patis). With a million dollar view of the Spanish island and lush forestry, it's understandable if you prefer spending your days outside on the patio. Bestowed with a clear eye for juxtaposing details, Maria Castello Martinez designs one spectacular Spanish residence. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Spa-like Aesthetics:** Architecture and interior design industries can innovate by combining spa-like aesthetics with rustic elements to create calming but visually stunning spaces. - **Remodeled Homes:** The remodeling industry can focus on extending original house designs while adding modern elements to update and refresh spaces. - **Indoor-outdoor Living:** The real estate and home design industries can integrate large outdoor spaces with the interior of homes to create fluid and versatile living spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** Architects can explore incorporating rustic elements into modern designs while maintaining a spa-like aesthetic. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can focus on designing calming spaces with natural elements and textures while giving a nod to rustic details. - **Real Estate and Home Design:** Industry players can leverage indoor-outdoor spaces and optimize home designs for enjoying breathtaking views and natural landscapes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Burnt Orange Walled Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-magarola.md) - [Coastal-Inspired Home Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-puerto.md) - [Seaside Home Renovation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-de-praia.md) - [Stone Ruin-Transformed Spanish Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-1627.md) - [Rustic Coastal Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/finca-style-coastal.md) - [Reflective Artful Calming Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-gesso.md) - [Compact White-Painted Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whitepainted-modern-home.md) - [Boxy Shaped Beach Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roman-izquierdo-bouldstridge.md) - [Off-Grid Oceanside Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/campos-studio.md)
