These visually striking monochrome images by Marek Chaloupka might send a shiver down your spine. These grainy black and white images are perfectly executed by the young Czech creative director, who also happens to be a photographer and web designer.

This eerie effect is achieved by photographing subjects through milk glass. Another aspect about this mysterious series called '003,' is the fact that the elusive subject is always photographed from underneath their feet. The anonymity coupled with the impression that the ghostly figures are trying to push through the glass, serves to make memorable and thought-provoking photographs

Marek Chaloupka is a photographer based in the Czech Republic, and has worked on a number of abstract photography commissions. These images will certainly make you shudder at first glance, and they offer viewers a completely new type of abstract photography.
