The furniture design draws inspiration from the form of coastlines, which is observed with a cascading series of wooden panels on the interior that are overlaid with a [piece of plate glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iris-collection). This space can be left empty to reinforce the aesthetic nature of the furniture piece or even used as a storage space. The 'Marea' low table is rounded out with a [hidden drawer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taarof-table) to provide a concealed space to hold living space essentials out of the way. The table is suited for being used as a coffee table or even a side table, depending on preferences.
