Using marmoreal, a manmade marble material, the team created this multicolored cutting board that is infused with brightly hued and organically shaped stones. These stone elements feature more color and depth than the traditional marble slab and are way more visually beautiful than a classic cutting board. This unique cutting board is both aesthetically striking and durable in its design, marrying form with function. The kitchen accessory will appeal to lovers of [stone materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terra-frammenti) and was created in collaboration with Max Lamb for [DZEK](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flaxwood). This cutting board is not only a practical kitchen tool but also stands alone as a decorative home décor item. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 5% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Multicolored Marble Products:** Opportunity to develop a whole line of kitchen products using multicolored marble for a unique and visually stunning twist on classic kitchen accessories. - **Organic-inspired Kitchen Accessories:** Creating kitchen products with stone elements and organic shapes to add more depth and appeal for a nature-inspired aesthetic that will stand out from traditional kitchen designs. - **Functional Home Decor Items:** Developing kitchen items that can also function as decorative pieces, blurring the line between form and function and providing an opportunity for crossover appeal to a wider range of consumers. ### Where This Applies - **Kitchenware Industry:** Creating a new line of kitchen products using multicolored marble or incorporating natural elements and organic shapes can disrupt the traditional kitchenware market. - **Home Decor Industry:** Multifunctional products with an emphasis on design aesthetics that can fit into both kitchen and home decor categories can disrupt the traditional home decor market. - **Stone Materials Industry:** Partnering with kitchen accessory brands to create innovative products using high-quality stone materials can disrupt the traditional use of stone in decorative and functional products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Intricate Wooden Serving Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-serving-board.md) - [High-Performance Cutting Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-steelport-steelcore.md) - [Design-Conscious Butcher Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/caraway-prep-serve-butcher-block.md) - [Artsy Serving Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ecoresin-accented-cheese-and-charcuterie-serving-boards.md) - [Cheese-Shaped Charcuterie Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cheese-block-with-knife.md) - [Warm-Toned Marble Coasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lusine-coasters.md) - [Multifunctional Serving Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/convertible-serving-board-trio.md) - [Ultra-Slick Cheese Board Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheese-board-set.md) - [Minimalist Preparation Cutting Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mudra-cutting-board.md)
