If it weren't for the tufted leather material or the fact that it was out of the water, the Manta Type C Armchair could have easily passed for the actual sea creature. Designed by [Mast](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floating-neighborhood), the Manta Type C Armchair is a luxurious creation that brings an element of the unexpected into the home. As the designers put it, the chair "combines great craftsmanship with a sense of avant-garde." Available in different colors, it is boasts a polished steel base. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Eagle Ray-inspired Furniture:** Exploring eagle ray-inspired designs in furniture presents opportunities for creating unique and visually captivating pieces. - **Fluid Lines in Home Decor:** The use of fluid lines in home decor allows for the creation of elegant and visually striking products that elevate interior design. - **Avant-garde Craftsmanship:** Embracing avant-garde elements in craftsmanship opens up possibilities for creating innovative and boundary-pushing furniture designs. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Design:** The furniture design industry can explore eagle ray-inspired concepts to create unique and visually stunning pieces that capture consumer attention. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate furniture with fluid lines to bring an element of elegance and visual interest into a space. - **Luxury Home Decor:** The luxury home decor industry can combine avant-garde craftsmanship with elegant designs to offer high-end products that appeal to discerning customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sea Creature-Inspired Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seat-urchin.md) - [Rope-Like Dynamic Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/caterpillar-lounge.md) - [Seashell-Inspired Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/traditional-and-digital-techniques.md) - [Soothing Boat-Like Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canoa-chair.md) - [Upholstered Organically Shaped Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-clam-chair.md) - [Espresso Maker-Inspired Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moka-chair.md) - [Fishing-Inspired Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/akos-huber.md) - [Otherworldly Themed Rocking Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ufo-rocking.md) - [Chunky Cylindrical Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/umi-armchair.md)
