When you think about it, it's really quite natural that an architectural project like the Make Kiosk should be influenced by [paper craft](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/museum-for-paper-art). After all, the early stages of design involve much model-making with such materials. What you see here is the very clever use of triangular aluminum panels that have been connected by hinges and assembled to behave like a scaled-up version of a folded paper creation.

The [origami-inspired project](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ori-lamp) was undertaken by Make Architects with the help of Entech Environmental Technology. The [portable structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/srivan) can be completely closed up and reopened accordion-style to accommodate all sorts of facilities. With a protective inner skin of plywood, the Make Kiosks can be found in London's Canary Wharf, functioning as information booths, coffee stands and pop-up shops.
