This series of electronic tapestries at Vienna's MAK Museum of Applied Arts and Contemporary Art sing when touched. 'Countours' is an [interactive installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sound-maestro). The [large scale hanging prints](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/olga-de-amaral) use innovative tyvek sheets, conductive paint and sensors to create sound. The project is the result of a collaboration between creative agency Bare Conductive and artists Fabio Antinori and Alicja Pytlewska.

A successful [Kickstarter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumino) campaign is behind the tapestries' engineering. Bare Conductive's crowdfunded capacity-sensing touch board allows MAK Museum visitors to make music in real time through modulated, data-driven soundscapes. This also involves a custom code written by MaxMSP.

This immersive exhibition not only indicates what the future may hold for contemporary art and screen printing, but also challenges the way people think about textiles, music and interactivity in museums.
