The ‘Cinematography’ collection by [Japanese designer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yamagiwa) Maiko Takeda is simple and beautiful. The photographs really breathe life and make it seem as if shadows have tactile qualities all on their own.

The collection was completed as a project at Central St. Martin’s school and detailed to the highest degree. Each [metal accessory](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/between-the-lightness-and-the-darkness) is covered in holes drilled by hand and shades the model, completely changing the picture.

Maiko Takeda sheds some serious light on shadows with this collection.
