The all-white [oceanfront pad with floor-to-ceiling windows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-a) is a slice of architectural heaven. Picture looking out of your window and seeing nothing but lush plant life and the Pacific Ocean. The Mahina House is the kind of place I dream of while I'm complaining about the A/C in my apartment not being cool enough. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.2/10 - Popularity: 97% | Activity: 82% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Moon-shaped Homes:** Opportunity to disrupt traditional home designs and offer more unique and visually stunning options for homebuyers. - **Oceanfront Living:** Opportunity to innovate luxurious and sustainable living spaces that offer unobstructed ocean views. - **Floor-to-ceiling Windows:** Opportunity to create new energy-efficient and eco-friendly solutions for window designs that maintain the glass' transparency. ### Where This Applies - **Architecture:** Opportunity to introduce creative design solutions for the construction of unique homes that offer improved quality of life experiences. - **Real Estate:** Opportunity to market and sell unique and innovative living spaces that appeal to individuals seeking luxurious and spectacular oceanfront lifestyles. - **Sustainable Living Solutions:** Opportunity to create eco-friendly designs and sustainable solutions that improve the construction materials and energy efficiency of homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tranquil Beachtown Hawaiian Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kailua-residence.md) - [Chic Curved Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/curved-house1.md) - [Elegant Gabled Coastal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hale-kiawe.md) - [Hilltop Modern Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cloud-house.md) - [Off-Grid Oceanside Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/campos-studio.md) - [Temple-Inspired Idyllic Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/k-residence-1.md) - [Angular Getaway Cabin Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halfmoon-bay.md) - [Traditionally Formed Gabled Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-de-mi-luna.md) - [Cedar-Clad L-Shaped Beach Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ospreys-landing.md)
