The kitchen is meant to be installed in a studio-style apartment and makes use of a [magnetic backboard](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eati-mag) that would enable cutlery or cookware to be stored neatly out of the way. The unit is further enhanced with a [shapeshifting sink design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchen-sink-system) that could collapse down when not in use and function as a cutting board for meal preparation. The magnetic kitchen design is paired with a series of essential appliances such as an induction range a microwave and a fridge, which are each small enough to fit within the confines of the system. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 86% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 11% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Compact Kitchen Systems:** Demand for smaller, more efficient kitchens with functional design options is on the rise.
