The small spherical device attaches to a bike’s handlebars using a magnet. Once you've chosen your preferred sound from one of three different ringtones, you just tap the top of the bell to make your [two-wheeled presence](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heybike-ec-compact) felt. Upon safe arrival to a destination, you simply lift the bell to remove it, and place it in your pocket (secure in the knowledge that if your bike does get stolen, you will still have a super stylish bell to keep you entertained while you wait for the police and a bus home). Described as simple, effective, innovative and even cute, the magnetic bike bell looks like it will be the perfect gift for cyclists this year. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 13% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Magnetic Bike Accessories:** The rise of magnetic bike bells presents an opportunity for the development of magnetic bike accessories such as lights and phone holders. - **Customizable Bike Accessories:** The development of magnetic bike bells with multiple ringtone options is part of a larger trend towards customizable bike accessories. - **Compact Cycling Gear:** The use of magnetic attachments for bike bells marks a trend towards compact, easy-to-use cycling gear. ### Who This Affects Most - **Outdoor Sports Retail:** Outdoor sports retailers could capitalize on the trend of customizable bike accessories like magnetic bells by creating in-store customization options for consumers. - **Cycling Gear Manufacturing:** The development of customizable magnetic bike accessories such as bells presents an opportunity for cycling gear manufacturers to expand their product lines with innovative, user-friendly products. - **Smart Home Technology:** The use of magnetic attachments in bike bells could lead to the development of smart home technology that utilizes magnetic sensors to detect when a bike bell has been removed or attached. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tracker-Friendly Bicycle Bells](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airbell.md) - [Slap-Band-Inspired Bike Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slapstick-smart-bicycle-lock.md) - [Discreet Smartphone Bike Mounts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loop-micro-mount.md) - [Quad-Purpose Cycling Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cycling-devices.md) - [Connected Cyclist Radar Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bryton-gardia-r300l.md) - [Connected Cyclist Information Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/core-bike-components-corecap.md) - [Style-Conscious Cyclist Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/town-mouse-center-light.md) - [Charming Avian Door Chimes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/timbre-tori-door-chime.md) - [Space-Saving Cyclist Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rydesafe-headtube-bike-light.md)
