# Slender Touch Interface Peripherals The 'Magic Bar' by atuos_user Brings Back the Touch Bar By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2021-11-17 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magic-bar References: [yankodesign](https://www.yankodesign.com/2021/11/17/the-macbook-pro-touch-bar-gets-a-second-life-as-this-portable-apple-inspired-accessory/) The conceptual 'Magic Bar' has been designed by autos_user as a new take on the [Apple](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumo-x700) Touch Bar that aims to bring back the ill-fated [MacBook](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nuphy-node75) feature in favor of a [portable peripheral](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-id360-touchstone). The device features the same general functionality, but is capable of being used across the Apple product ecosystem for placement on a desktop or even affixing onto a laptop for enhanced productivity. The unit would provide a range of shortcuts for users to easily access with a single tap, while the solid aluminum body would make it a welcome addition to the Apple product lineup. The conceptual 'Magic Bar' imagines a new functionality and form for the tech brand's idea to help evolve it into something more applicable than the original.
