These faux magazine covers by Magenta King probably won’t be fictitious for long with the popularity of [superheroes still on the rise](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spiderman-x-crocs), but until that time comes, we’ll just have to enjoy these wonderful drawings. Seen here are fake covers for issues of Esquire and [Rolling Stone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rolling-stone) featuring Scott Summers, AKA Cyclops, of X-Men fame and Spider-Man respectively. Not to detract from King’s impressive illustrative work, but by far the most impressive thing about these covers is how true-to-life they actually look, with fake stories and all.

It’d be a great injustice not to talk about Magenta King’s drawing style however, which I find to be rather original. He seems to mix eclectic media to render in a manner that’s distinctly his own. To truly understand the breadth of his versatility, be sure to check out King's personal website.
