Designed in kind like the MagSafe adapter you'll find on older [Apple](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magtame) laptops that connects via a magnet, the MagCable works similarly: simply plug an adapter into your device and the universal MagCable quickly snaps on and off with ease. Amazingly dust and waterproof, the MagCable features a smart light indicator to let you know the connection has been made as well as a fast charging switch for when you're in a hurry. Currently funding on [Kickstarter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/connect-pro-cable), the MagCable is the ultimate solution to multi-device lifestyles. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 38% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Magnetic Charging:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop magnetic charging technology for various devices to streamline the charging process and eliminate the need for different cables. - **Multi-device Compatibility:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create charging solutions that are compatible with both Apple and Android devices, catering to the diverse user base. - **Fast and Efficient Charging:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design charging cables with fast charging capabilities and smart indicators for convenient and efficient charging experiences. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Consumer Electronics:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop charging solutions that enhance the user experience and simplify the charging process for a wide range of electronic devices. - **Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate magnetic charging technology into a wide range of technological devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops. - **Smart Home:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate magnetic charging capabilities into smart home devices, enabling seamless and convenient charging experiences for users. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Magnetic Charging Innovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/connect-pro-cable.md) - [Magnetically-Organized Phone Cables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magtame.md) - [Premium Magnetic Charging Cables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/connect-pro.md) - [Magnetic Technology Charging Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnilink-360-pro.md) - [Multipurpose Magnetic Cables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/supercalla-cable.md) - [All-in-One Rapid Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magfast-lux-extreme.md) - [All-in-One Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/syncwire.md) - [Magnetic-Release Charging Cables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interhok.md) - [Modular Three-in-One Charger Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/matrix-magnetic-charging-dock.md)
