Designed by Kizuku Kitada of SPECT DESIGN, the cable connects via [magnetic attraction](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pokoo) and utilizes induction charging to transfer power to your chosen device. This could eliminate the wear and tear that takes place on devices after extensive charging, while also keeping components as reversible and orientation-free as possible for seamless connectivity. The conceptual 'Mag Cable' acknowledges the need for streamlined charging capabilities, and imagines the future of technology and connectivity to be focused on a shift away from [traditional plug-in styles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charging-technology1) towards a less invasive form of power access. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 54% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Magnetic Induction Charging:** Magnetic induction charging offers a new approach to powering up devices, reducing wear and tear during charging. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Consumer Electronics:** Consumer electronics industry can benefit from the integration of magnetic induction charging cables for a more convenient and efficient charging experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Magnetic Charging Innovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/connect-pro-cable.md) - [Magnetic Technology Charging Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnilink-360-pro.md) - [Magnetic Self-Folding Charging Cables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ivycable.md) - [Multipurpose Magnetic Cables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/supercalla-cable.md) - [Space-Saving Technology Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magepan-magnetic-wireless-charger.md) - [Magnetic-Release Charging Cables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interhok.md) - [Premium Magnetic Charging Cables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/connect-pro.md) - [Design-Conscious Tech Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magsafe-trio.md) - [Vibrant Lanyard Charging Cables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lanyard-charging.md)
