# Mobster Humanimal Photography Mafia Animals Shows That the Law of the Jungle is Violent By Matt Ho | Published 2011-06-17 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mafia-animals References: [whitezine](http://www.whitezine.com/en/photography/mafia-animals-nick-rudnicki.html) & [behance.net](http://www.behance.net/NickRudnicki) Canadian photographer Nick Rudnicki is back again with a humorous set of images entitled Mafia Animals. The Mafia Animals series is exactly how it sounds; a series of models with [animal masks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/animalsfilm) on acting as mobsters. So if you think rabbits and horses aren't tough, you better think again, because they'll be more than willing to pop a cap in you if you're not paying up. Each of the photographs depicts the models conducting a variety of illegal acts that will remind you why messing around with the mob isn't wise unless you're doing it in a game. Either way, the animal world is looking a lot scarier. The recreation of [mafia scenes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/serial-killer-shop) in Nick Rudnicki's photographs is so well-done that it's almost like looking at [a screen shot of a movie](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-godfather-collection). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.3/10 - Popularity: 94% | Activity: 87% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Animal-themed Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating unique animal-themed photography experiences for consumers. - **Humorous Art Installations:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing humorous art installations that blend different concepts or themes. - **Exploring Crime-related Themes:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Using creative mediums to explore crime-related themes in a thought-provoking and engaging way. ### Who This Affects Most - **Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrating animal-themed photography experiences into traditional photography services. - **Art & Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborating with artists to create interactive and unique art installations. - **Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporating crime-related themes into entertainment experiences, such as immersive theater or interactive games. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Striking Urban Wildlife Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clare-allin.md) - [Unique Hybrid Mystery Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/animal-x-vegetable-gachapon.md) - [Wildlife Awareness Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/animal-cards.md) - [Spooky Charming Pet Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crown-paw.md) - [High-Concept Brand Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/legitimate-you.md) - [Gritty Rodent-Inspired Boots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ratboot.md) - [Provocative Fall Fragrances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/borntostandout-fall-2024.md) - [Animal Casting Directories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/animalsfilm.md) - [First-Person Vintage-Inspired Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mouse.md)
