The clients had lived in eight different homes over the span of a decade, never finding anywhere they wanted to settle down. However, their growing family necessitated that they find a more permanent home. The clients wished to create a purposeful design plan; one in which every room has a clear intention. The residence takes cues from 1900s craftsman architecture, allowing it to remain simple, sleek and original. One of the home's many focal points is the [stone hearth](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hollywood-hills-house-1), which imbues a sense of warmth.
