Described as "a super serious project about dogs and physics" on the website, the images follow Maddie as she travels across the United State's midwestern states balancing on top of things that humans probably wouldn't even dare to try. Pictured on top of a mailbox, a man's shoulders, and most impressively between two shopping carts, this dog's many amazing tricks may just make your own pet green with envy. If you're guilty of enjoying a good planking session now and then, Maddie The Coonhound will make all of those other balancing acts look like child's play. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 83% | Activity: 80% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Humor](https://www.trendhunter.com/humor) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Dog Balancing Acts:** The rising trend of showcasing dogs in impressive balancing acts could lead to innovative pet training programs and niche entertainment industries. - **Outdoor Photography:** With the popularity of 'Maddie The Coonhound' and her planking projects, outdoor photography could see new enticing opportunities for tourism, merchandise and advertising. - **Pet Social Media Influencers:** Social media influencers have been growing in popularity, and with Instagram animals like Maddie, this trend could prepare to explode with numerous opportunities. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Pet Training Programs:** As the trend of showcasing dogs in impressive balancing acts continue to grow, pet training programs could offer unique training opportunities for pets to learn new tricks - **Outdoor Advertising:** Outdoor photography, advertising, and merchandise industries could leverage the popularity of Maddie and other pets to create targeted campaigns aimed at pet owners and animal lovers - **Pet Entertainment:** Pet entertainment industries could create new niche shows and performances featuring pets with unique talents and skills like Maddie has shown in her impressive balancing acts ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dog-Friendly Board Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-dogs-best-friend-game.md) - [Balance Beam-Walking Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quadruped-robots.md) - [Influencer Dog Treat Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/influencer-dog-treat-collection.md) - [Crash Test Dummy Dogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crash-test-dummy-dogs.md) - [Human-Sized Dog Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plufl.md) - [Demure Dog House Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-hut-desk.md) - [3d-Printed Modern Dog Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-hut-side-table.md) - [Dog-Friendly Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/agility-desk.md) - [Curvaceous Abstract Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-table.md)
