Tommaso Gecchelin’s design blends technology from notebook computers, tablets and desktops. It uses [OLED flexible screens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flexible-briefcase) and what Gecchelin calls the iSpine, which allows the computer to bend in a number of positions without compressing the screen. An external ‘[Magic Dock](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fire-magic-echelon-dropin-gas-grill)’ keeps the clutter of cables, ports and USBs away from the sleek MacBook Touch display. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Transformer Laptops:** The trend of transformer laptops combines the functionality of notebooks, tablets, and desktops into one device, offering users versatility and convenience. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Technology:** The technology industry can capitalize on the trend of transformer laptops by developing innovative devices that provide a seamless transition between different modes of use, enhancing user experience. - **Design:** The design industry can explore the trend of transformer laptops to create aesthetically pleasing and ergonomic devices that integrate flexible screens and innovative features. - **Accessories:** The accessories industry can offer complementary products such as external docks and cable management solutions that enhance the user experience and enhance the functionality of transformer laptops. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Projection-Style Computer Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/macbook-go.md) - [Three-in-One Laptop Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seal-laptop.md) - [Modular Display Laptop Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compal-dualflip-laptop.md) - [All-in-One Workstation Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lt1-laptop-concept.md) - [Size-Expanding Laptop Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compal-electronics-infinite-laptop.md) - [Transparency-Focused Laptop Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nothing-book-1-concept.md) - [Detachable Gaming Console Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wistron-dual-fusion.md) - [Bendable Display Laptop Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hp-spectre-fold.md) - [Conceptual Transforming Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/auto-twist-ai-pc.md)
