# Darkly Demure Designer Computers The Mac Pro 2020 by Hasan Kaymak Imagines the Next-Gen Computer By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2019-06-14 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mac-pro-2020 References: [yankodesign](https://www.yankodesign.com/2019/06/12/one-designer-went-and-redesigned-the-cheese-grater-mac-pro/) The conceptual Mac Pro 2020 has been designed by Hasan Kaymak as a next-generation solution for users that embraces the current aesthetic of the system, while giving it some distinct refinements. Crafted from aluminum and featuring a refined front grille, the computer transforms the system from an eye-catching computer like the present version to a more subtle option for workstations. This will come as welcome news to those who have a disdain for the recently unveiled 2019 Mac Pro from [Apple](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-mac-mini-concept) that has been likened to a cheese grater by some critics. The conceptual Mac Pro 2020 features a refined exterior, but is also built for productivity with eight USB-C ports on the rear for connecting all essential peripherals as well as two headphone jacks for wired audio connections. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 40% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/computers) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Refined Aesthetic Design in Computers:** Creating a sleeker and more subtle design in computers can be a disruptive innovation that changes the way users perceive their workstations. - **Improved Port Connectivity in Computers:** Integrating more USB-C ports and audio jacks in computers can be an innovative step towards increased productivity and usability. - **Next-gen Computer Conceptualization:** Designing and conceptualizing next-gen computers can pave the way for more innovative solutions in the future. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Computer Manufacturing Industry:** Manufacturing next-gen computers with refined aesthetics and improved port connectivity can lead to increased market demand and revenue. - **Industrial Design Industry:** Innovative industrial design companies can create more practical and appealing computers that cater to the user's needs and wants. - **Technology Consulting Industry:** Technology consulting agencies can assist computer manufacturers and design firms in creating innovative and functional next-gen computers that stand out in the market. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Nostalgic Desktop Computer Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/macintosh-computer-concept.md) - [Pro-Grade Expansion-Supporting Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/latest-apple-mac-pro.md) - [High-Power Desktop-Friendly Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-mac-studio.md) - [Sculpted Designer Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-15-pro-max-concept.md) - [Sleekly Conceptualized All-in-One PCs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ws1-workstation.md) - [Projection-Style Computer Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/macbook-go.md) - [Ultra-Fast Compact Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mac-studio.md) - [Upgraded Compact Desktop Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-desktop-computer.md) - [Design-Conscious Mini Desktop PCs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ayaneo-mini-pc-am03.md)
