Hong Kong is one of the largest metropolises in Asia, and the newly built M+ Pavilion helps people to get an idea of just how massive and impressive the city state truly is. The pavilion is primarily designed to give an [elevated view](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/resting-loop-with-views) of the West Kowloon Cultural District, a downtown neighborhood in Hong Kong, and it further doubles as an [event venue and cultural exhibition](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eye-of-the-future).

The most striking aspect of M+ Pavilion itself (aside from the view) is its exterior. The walls of the pavilion are clad in massive [chrome panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirroring-dialogue). These panels create a mirrored effect that reflects the natural environment surrounding the hill-topping pavilion. Considering the dense urban images that the pavilion gives way to, a reflection of green space is especially important.
