# Chainsaw-Wielding Brides The Lyubomir Sergeev Affect Media Campaign is a Bloody, Confusing Series By Michael Hines | Published 2010-03-26 | Fashion Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lyubomir-sergeev References: [behance.net](http://www.behance.net/Gallery/Affect-Media-Campaign/452168) & [behance.net](http://www.behance.net/LyubomirSergeev) Lyubomir Sergeev's work for the ‘[Affect Media Campaign](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beige-billboards)’ highlights what I assume are the [realities of seemingly normal professions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-shooting)/people. Some of these ‘realities’ are flippin’ freaky. The cop stuffed with money and the prisoner judge I can understand. But the miner dressed as a ballerina? Maybe all coal miners want to do is secretly dance. Lyubomir Sergeev has managed to take normal subjects and create some [creepy and thought-provoking photos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jeffrey-deitch-art-gallery). I am going to attempt to wrap my head around Lyubomir Sergeev’s photos. Hopefully my head doesn’t explode in the process. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 47% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/stylephotography) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Creepy Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop unconventional photography concepts to provoke thought and stir emotions. - **Unconventional Professions:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the hidden desires and hobbies of people in seemingly normal professions to create unique products or services. - **Visual Storytelling:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Combine visual elements with storytelling techniques to create compelling and thought-provoking narratives. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate technology advancements to push the boundaries of traditional photography and create unique visual experiences. - **Fashion:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Challenge traditional gender roles and expectations in fashion by merging unconventional elements with traditional styles. - **Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Experiment with different mediums and techniques to create unconventional and thought-provoking artworks that challenge societal norms. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Mock Social Good Fashion Ads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/not-models-own.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Anti-Gender Violence Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antigender-violence-campaign.md) - [Explosion-Damaged Sculpture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-into-darkness.md) - [Chainsaw-Sliced Sandwiches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chainsaw-sliced-sandwiches.md) - [Distorted Furniture Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/first-kiss-at-last-light.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md)
