That being said, the fire-features that are becoming available on the market now are more sleek, modern and luxurious than ever before. The [fire sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lodes-1) here from [Colombo Construction Corporation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bob-organizer) are dramatic examples of the future of outdoor accessories. I love the burning steel rocks and balls, and the cantilevered flaming waterfall called 'Fire Spill' is stunning. They are made of steel, bronze and stainless steel, and are equipped to burn either propane or natural gas, so they burn cleaner and are more convenient and safer than wood. The Colombo Construction Corporation is owned by architectural designer Elena Colombo of New York, whose collection also includes wind and water features. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 52% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Luxury Fire Sculptures:** The trend of sleek, modern, and luxurious fire pits and fireplaces for outdoor decor. - **Burning Steel Rocks and Balls:** The trend of using burning steel rocks and balls as dramatic outdoor accessories. - **Flaming Waterfall 'fire Spill':** The trend of cantilevered flaming waterfalls as stunning fire sculptures for outdoor spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Outdoor Decor:** The industry of designing and manufacturing luxury fire pits, fireplaces, and outdoor accessories. - **Architectural Design:** The industry of creating innovative and modern fire sculptures as part of outdoor architectural designs. - **Gas Burners and Gas Supplies:** The industry of producing and supplying gas burners and propane/natural gas for clean and convenient outdoor fire features. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Portable Cylindrical Fireplaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ecosmart-fire-pillar-3t.md) - [Elegant Firepit Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/backyard-firepit.md) - [Mixed-Material Tabletop Fireplaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brasscene-harmony-flame-fireplace.md) - [Cooking-Friendly Outdoor Fireplaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/regg-surprise.md) - [Minimal Sculptural Fire Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prometheo-uno.md) - [Eco-Friendly Bioethanol Fireplaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glammfire-contour.md) - [Floral-Inspired Concrete Fire Pits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunflower-fire-pit.md) - [Slick Modern Holographic Fireplaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holographic-fireplace.md) - [3D-Printed Fire Pits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3d-printed-fire-pit.md)
