Conceptualized and designed by Aemer Architects, this luxurious waterfront mansion is inspired by the waterfront in every way; not only is it literally located on the waterfront, this tranquil residence was designed with a [curving boomerang structure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-nest-2) to give it the curving effect and to create an architectural feat that offers views from every spot of the residence. Located in Singapore, this fluid, unitary space is decorated in a subtle and refined nautical theme with a [wrap-around pool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lake-house-life-experience-pavilion) that goes around the entire ground floor. “The house opens toward the waterfront in a much more transparent and open manner through glass enclosure, timber deck and balconies," says the design team at Aemer Architects. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 47% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Waterfront Boomerang Design:** Innovation in waterside architectural design integrating curved structure and wrap-around pools. - **Nautical-themed Luxury Residences:** Opportunities for creating opulent, yet serene, residences that seamlessly blend modernity with coastal charm. - **Transparent, Open Aquatic Views:** Introducing innovative, glass-heavy constructions, integrating open water views for modern, luxury homes. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Real Estate:** Challenging architects to plan and develop waterside plots, creating innovative structures that resonate with new generations of homebuyers. - **Construction:** Catering to clients seeking innovative house designs that prioritize waterfront living with serene panoramic views. - **Luxury Hospitality and Tourism:** Creating a new class of exclusivity with fluid boomerang structures offering guests a new way to experience life on the waterfront. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Water-Centric Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/10m.md) - [Modern Floating Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pura-vida-floating-home.md) - [Organic Coastal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diachok-architects.md) - [Thoughtful Lakeside Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lakeside-living.md) - [Tranquil River-Overlooking Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/river-bend-residence.md) - [Circular Garden Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-o.md) - [Angular Modern Lakeside Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/memphremagog-lake-residence.md) - [Tranquil Water-Inspired Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ripple-apartment.md) - [Beach-Overlooking Picturesque Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-a.md)
