# Extravagant Dog Kennel Exhibitions The BowWow Haus London Boasts Luxurious Dog Kennel Designs By Kalin Ned | Published 2018-04-16 | Luxury Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxurious-dog-kennel References: [hypebeast](https://hypebeast.com/2018/4/bowwow-haus-london-exhibition-zaha-hadid-dog-kennels) & [bowwowhauslondon](https://www.bowwowhauslondon.co.uk/kennel-designs/) The BowWow Haus London is an exhibition that features functional, chic and luxurious dog kennels. This year's show features famed design studios and architectural firms such as [Zaha Hadid Architects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zaha-hadid-architects-2), Studio Octopi and [SPARK Architects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sherpa-dog-jacket). Each piece is one-of-a-kind and design-driven. The curious shapes and the approach to structural format and detailing is a testimony of the canine furniture's venture into modern, art deco and expressionist movements. For example, one of the luxurious dog kennels exhibits a direct stylistic reference to famed Spanish architect Antonio Gaudi with its tiled and absolutely fairy tale-esque blue exterior. BowWow Haus London puts each of the beautiful and artistic design up for auction. The proceeds of the sold luxurious dog kennels will go to support the [Blue Cross for Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hidden-gardens) organization, which looks after over 40,000 homeless pets. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.7/10 - Popularity: 98% | Activity: 94% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Luxury](https://www.trendhunter.com/luxury) > [Ultra Luxury](https://www.trendhunter.com/ultraluxury) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Functional, Chic, and Luxurious Dog Kennels:** Designing dog kennels with unique aesthetics and luxurious features presents an opportunity to cater to pet owners looking for stylish and high-end options. - **Collaborations with Design Studios and Architectural Firms:** Partnering with renowned design studios and architectural firms allows for the creation of innovative and one-of-a-kind dog kennel designs that combine art and functionality. - **Charitable Auctions for Pet Organizations:** Hosting auctions for the sale of extravagant dog kennels provides an opportunity to raise funds for pet organizations while promoting the value of design and craftsmanship. ### Where This Applies - **Pet Accessories:** The pet accessories industry can tap into the demand for high-end dog kennels that offer both functionality and upscale aesthetics. - **Design and Architecture:** By collaborating with design studios and architectural firms, the design and architecture industry can explore new avenues in creating unique and imaginative dog kennel designs. - **Non-profit Organizations:** Non-profit organizations focused on pet welfare can leverage extravagant dog kennel exhibitions as fundraising events to support their initiatives while promoting awareness about pet homelessness. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rollable Bell-Shaped Dog Kennels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poochchair.md) - [Bauhaus-Inspired Mobile Doghouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bowowhaus.md) - [Off-Grid Dog House Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-house-prototype.md) - [Workplace-Friendly Doghouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barc-dog-kennel.md) - [Flat-Packed Dog Kennels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-barc.md) - [Luxury Monogram Doghouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/louis-vuitton-kennel-trunk.md) - [Posh Pooch Travel Trunks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archis-travel-trunk.md) - [Pleated Designer Dog Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/issey-miyappy-tessellations.md) - [Sustainable Dog Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doggie-dreamhouse.md)
