To create unique lighting designs, consumers can purchase additional modular components, including a [horizontal chandelier and a vertical pendant](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kala-lamp). Users can string together the [mouth-blown glass elements](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polaris) to create their own expressions of the lighting collection. Kaleido's unconventional configurations were inspired by the kaleidoscope. The lights in the collection feature a soft glow due to the combination of subtle colors and clear glass. When stacked, the handblown pieces become a mosaic of tones and patterns. Users will experience optical illusions depending on their chosen configuration. According to the company's founder, Scott Richler, "each piece will add a sense of enchantment to any interior design scheme."
