LuDela is a real-flame candle that can be controlled through an app, allowing users to remotely light and extinguish the fire. The LuDela candle is a smarter and safer option than [traditional flame candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fire-capsule-oil-lamp). As far as smarts are concerned, multiple LuDela candles can be synced to the app and controlled independently. From the side of safety, the LuDela candles will automatically extinguish themselves if they risk being knocked over (thanks to sensors in the base of the candle.) Further, the candle bases come in many different styles and scents, giving consumers the ability to personalize lighting. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 74% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Smart Candles:** LuDela introduces a smart candle that can be controlled remotely through an app, revolutionizing the traditional flame candle. - **App-controlled Lighting:** The integration of smartphone apps with lighting devices like LuDela's candle offers convenience and customization to users. - **Safe Flame Technology:** LuDela's smart candle incorporates safety features such as automatic extinguishing when knocked over, ensuring a safer candle experience. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** The introduction of smart candles like LuDela opens up disruptive innovation opportunities in the home decor industry, combining traditional aesthetics with modern technology. - **App Development:** The integration of smartphone apps with lighting devices like LuDela's candle creates opportunities for app developers to create user-friendly and innovative lighting control solutions. - **Candle Manufacturing:** The incorporation of smart technology in candles, as seen in LuDela's product, presents a disruptive innovation opportunity for the candle manufacturing industry to enhance the safety and functionality of their products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Candle-Inspired Lightbulbs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/velaflame.md) - [Smart Candle-Warming Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switchbot-candle-warmer-lamp.md) - [Vintage-Inspired Candle Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vintageinspired-candle-lamps.md) - [Multi-Sensory Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumin-candles.md) - [Luxe Candle-Melting Lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/infra-luna-20.md) - [Flame-Free Candle Warmers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-candle-warmer-lamp.md) - [Self-Leveling Coconut Wax Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adlan-fragrances.md) - [Naturally Inspired Digital Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magma-lamp.md) - [Flickering Candle-Inspired Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nebo-big-poppy.md)
