Beautifully pristine in its whiteness, the LUCILLA lamp has a subdued [Victorian-esque detailing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monumental-collection) that lends more of a gracefulness rather than gaudiness. Designed by Imperfetto Lab, the LUCILLA lamp debuted during the Milan Design Week 2010 at ENTRATALIBERA. I wouldn't be surprised if these [huge orbs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-glow-light), which also remind me of [languid jellyfish](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phantom-lighting), stole the show. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.7/10 - Popularity: 6% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Oversized Lighting:** Design and production of larger-than-life lighting fixtures for dramatic interior designs. - **Simplicity in Design:** Emphasis on simple yet elegant design in creating striking oversized interior fixtures. - **Victorian Revival:** Modern interpretations of Victorian design elements including details and ornamentation for contemporary lighting design. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for interior designers to create unique and bold spaces using oversized lighting fixtures that serve as focal points. - **Lighting Manufacturing:** Opportunity for lighting manufacturers to expand their product offerings with oversized lighting fixtures that cater to distinctive design tastes. - **Event Design:** Opportunity for event designers to create one-of-a-kind experiences by incorporating oversized lighting fixtures as part of their event design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Blown Glass-Inspired Lighting Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luisa-collection.md) - [Oversized Pen Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bic-lamp.md) - [Ancient Rome-Inspired Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/romana.md) - [Bulbous Whimsical Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neotenic.md) - [Brutalist Bedside Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vestige-lamp.md) - [Maximalist Arched Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oblure.md) - [Retro-Tinged Compact Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lari-mini.md) - [Theatrical Curtain-Inspired Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sipario.md) - [Rice Paper-Inspired Statuesque Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pholc.md)
