# Console-Specific Gaming Headphones The LucidSound LS35X Headphones Pair with Project Scorpio By Joey Haar | Published 2017-05-09 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lucidsound-ls35x References: [digitaltrends](https://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/lucidsound-project-scorpio-ls35x/?utm_source=feedly&utm_medium=webfeeds) Though [Microsoft](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wireless-headset-1) has not yet released any of the consumer products related to Project Scorpio, its upcoming [Xbox One](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stealth-600-gen-2-max) revision for this year, the company has at least released a development kit, and that led to the [LucidSound](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wireless-gaming-headsets) LS35X headphones. The new wireless headphones are designed to link up with the Project Scorpio Xbox as quickly and easily as a wireless controller, making it more convenient for gamers to pick up their peripherals and start playing. Impressively, the Project Scorpio development kit was released little more than a month ago. That means that the LucidSound LS35X headphones were designed and manufactured with a wildly quick turnaround. The headphones are still capable and functional, though, offering broad compatibility with most Microsoft gaming systems. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 22% | Activity: 33% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Quick Turnaround Design:** The LucidSound LS35X headphones were designed and manufactured with a wildly quick turnaround, showcasing the trend of creating products in a short period of time. - **Wireless Gaming Peripherals:** The wireless capabilities of the LucidSound LS35X headphones highlight the trend of using wireless technology in gaming peripherals for enhanced convenience and mobility. - **Seamless Device Integration:** The ability of the LucidSound LS35X headphones to link up quickly and easily with the Project Scorpio Xbox demonstrates the trend of seamless integration between devices, providing a user-friendly experience. ### Who This Affects Most - **Gaming Headphones:** The LucidSound LS35X headphones belong to the gaming headphones industry, which can explore disruptive innovation opportunities by focusing on quick turnaround design and improving wireless capabilities. - **Gaming Peripherals:** The wireless features of the LucidSound LS35X headphones make them a part of the gaming peripherals industry, which can explore disruptive innovation opportunities by emphasizing seamless device integration and enhancing wireless technology. - **Console Gaming:** The integration of the LucidSound LS35X headphones with the Project Scorpio Xbox highlights the console gaming industry, which can explore disruptive innovation opportunities by further improving seamless device integration and user-friendly experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [High-Performance Gaming Audio](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/astro-a50-x-gaming-headset.md) - [Game-Themed Console Peripherals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wireless-controller-and-headset.md) - [Enhanced Wireless Audio Headsets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wireless-headset-1.md) - [High-End eSports Headphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/master-dynamic-mg20.md) - [Chic Console-Ready Gamer Headphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beoplay-portal-gaming-headphones.md) - [Fine-Tunable Gamer Headphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corsair-hs65-surround-gaming-headset.md) - [Branded eSports Earbuds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playstation-earbuds.md) - [Premium Console Gaming Headsets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pulse-elite-wireless.md) - [Planar Magnetic Driver Headphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audeze-maxwell.md)
