# Flower Tower Lamps Lucente Designer Floor Lamps are Rainforest-Worthy Home Decor By Andrew Robichaud | Published 2009-07-23 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lucente-designer-floor-lamps References: [trendir](http://www.trendir.com/archives/003670.html) & [lucente.eu](http://www.lucente.eu/public/index.asp) [Flowers inside the home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/indoor-gardening-1) are always acceptable, but often a little risky as far as their lifespan and mess is concerned (I have cats, they make messes of plants). These beautiful [designer floor lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alma-light-totem-i) from Lucente bring the [extravagance of the garden](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloome) to you without the unnecessary outdoor ‘Je-ne-sais-quoi’ that tends to accompany it. They stand tall and proud and are worthy of the finest of greenhouses (you know, if they were real). I would suggest not trying to water them. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Indoor Garden Lamps:** Opportunity to disrupt home decor market with lamps that mimic the look of a garden. - **Functional Decor:** Creating home decor items that are not only visually appealing but serve a functional purpose has disruptive potential. - **Sustainable Lighting:** As sustainability becomes increasingly important, creating sustainable lighting options for home decor can be a disruptive innovation opportunity. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can benefit from the disruption that functional and sustainable lighting options could bring to the market. - **Sustainability:** Sustainability-focused industries can make use of the trend towards sustainable lighting to develop new products and services that align with their values. - **Lighting:** Innovation in lighting technology can create new opportunities within the home decor and sustainability industries, especially when combined with functional and stylish design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Plant-Cultivating Home Furnishings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-4.md) - [Bamboo Forest-Inspired Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightbone.md) - [Nature-Inspired Living Space Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonlight-floor-lamp.md) - [Posh Plant-Supporting Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ample-plant-light-n1.md) - [Plant-Based Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plantbased-lamp.md) - [Daylight-Mimicking Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brighter-floor-lamp.md) - [Scenic Architecture Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-inspired-table-lamp.md) - [Opulent Outdoor Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gubi-seine-portable-lamp.md) - [Suspended Halo Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lamplox-minimalist-floor-lamp.md)
