# Finalized Sci-Fi Museums The 'Lucas Museum of Narrative Arts' Will Finally Go Up in Los Angeles By Joey Haar | Published 2018-05-04 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lucas-museum-of-narrative-arts References: [freshome](https://freshome.com/lucas-museum/?utm_source=feedly&utm_medium=webfeeds) There's no question that the ['Star Wars' franchise](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cocacola-x-star-wars) has changed the history of pop culture forever, and the '[Lucas Museum of Narrative Arts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Star-wars-themed-cafe)' is a new facility that will honor the famous story's impact on the world at large. The museum has been in the planning stages for years, but a new concept released by [MAD Architects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-never-hut) is finally ready to begin construction in Los Angeles' Exposition Park. In staying true to its namesake, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Arts takes on a distinctly science fiction-inspired form factor. The building indeed looks like a spaceship that might cruise through a galaxy far, far away in the Star Wars narrative universe. Its combination of flowing glass and elegant curvatures give it a dynamic sense of liquidity that typifies the genre as a whole.
