This gives the resulting images a much more playful appearance, as Lucas Beaufort is able to strategically infuse his characters into scenes. In one imagine, a pair of clown-like beings hold up a wooden ramp for him as he's in the air, making it look as though he's about to land on the illustrated surface. In another, a group of green, purple and orange long-legged creatures sit and watch as he [skates on a railing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yusuke-hanai-2). By brining the illustrations to his photography, Lucas Beaufort makes the images substantially more captivating, as his viewers are left imagining the interactions between him and the creatures. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/stylephotography) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Illustrative Photography:** Combining photography with illustrations to create playful and captivating images. - **Athletic Artwork:** Fusing athleticism and art to create unique and engaging content. - **Fantasy Realism:** Integrating elements of fantasy into real-life scenes to create imaginative and striking visuals. ### Who This Affects Most - **Sports Photography:** By incorporating illustrations into athletic photography, sports photographers can create more dynamic and visually appealing images. - **Digital Art:** Digital artists can explore new ways of combining various mediums to create imaginative and dynamic pieces. - **Advertising and Marketing:** By incorporating creative elements into advertising and marketing campaigns, brands can capture the attention of their audiences and stand out from competitors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Skateboarding Heritage Collection](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/united-through-skateboarding.md) - [Pop Art Skateboard Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-skateroom-1.md) - [Elevated Urban Skate Venues](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aan-architects.md) - [Psychedelic Skateboard Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-psychedelia.md) - [Blue Silkscreen Skateboard Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kai-and-sunny-1.md) - [Iconic Pop Art Skateboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skateroom-x-andy-warhol-foundation.md) - [Nature-Inspired Rooftop Skateparks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qingdao-mixc-rooftop-skatepark.md) - [Skate-Inspired Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/capturing-the-journey.md) - [Illustrated Streetwear Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wasted-youth-x-tappei.md)
