# Sculptural Outdoor Seating The Zephyr Lounger Chair by Gravelli is Sumptuously Curvy By Gil Cohen | Published 2013-04-25 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lounger-chair References: [fromeurope.org](http://www.fromeurope.org/tips.php?cis=2505) & [gravelli](http://www.gravelli.com/) To make the outdoor decor match the elegance and luxury within, Gravelli design studio created the Zephyr lounger chair that can be left on display outdoors no matter what the season. Curvacious and sculptural, the [lounge seat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monk-armchair) is a continuous line that is mostly suspended from the floor except for the two ends that form a solid base. This prevents people from having to lie directly on the ground while giving the chair the appearance of a statuesque lawn ornament when not in use. Made out of concrete, the design is weather-proof, perfect on sunny days for [lounging by the pool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plane-lounge-chair) and even for cold winter days for cuddling up with hot cocoa. Style-savvy homeowners can have their yards match their interiors with the Zephyr lounger chair. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Sculptural Outdoor Furniture:** Designing outdoor furniture that combines functionality with art to create a distinctive look and feel for high-end residential and commercial properties. - **Luxury Outdoor Living:** Creating outdoor spaces that offer luxurious experiences and exclusive designs to high-end clientele. - **Weather-resistant Materials:** Innovative materials that withstand various climate conditions for outdoor furniture design and production. ### Where This Applies - **Luxury Furniture:** Designing and producing high-end furniture for affluent homeowners, luxury hotels, and exclusive restaurants. - **Residential Design:** Designing and constructing luxurious outdoor living spaces for high-end residences. - **Hospitality Design:** Designing a luxurious experience for guests by creating outdoor lounge spaces with elegant and comfortable furniture for high-end hotels and restaurants. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Outdoor Scandinavian Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bste-lounge-chair.md) - [Comfort-Focused Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-grapy-lounge-chair.md) - [Industrial Exterior Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/osier-lounge-chair.md) - [Drink-Holding Outdoor Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lago-lounge-chair.md) - [Ergonomic Inflated Reclined Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/johannes-faurebrac.md) - [Minimal Outdoor Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bask-lounge.md) - [Ultra-Elegant Designer Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/designer-outdoor-furniture.md) - [Sculptural Outdoor Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbit-outdoor-furniture.md) - [Contemporary Quick-Dry Patio Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garden-lounge-chair.md)
