The 'LugLoc' works with Bluetooth technology as well as GSM connectivity to perform a couple different features that travellers will find quite handy. The 'LugLoc' is intended to be packed into your baggage and is flight compliant to ensure it's safe to be carried in your checked bags. Users can check on their smartphone to see if their bag made it onto their flight before leaving or to see what airport their lost baggage is in if they land to discover it didn't arrive with them. The 'LugLoc' simplifies the process of finding lost baggage by enabling you to let the airline know what airport it's in rather than waiting for them to find it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 53% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Luggage-tracking Devices:** Expanding the features of the LugLoc and providing more affordable options for consumers. - **Smartphone-enabled Baggage Tracking:** Developing new applications that increase the accuracy of tracking and offer real-time updates for travelers. - **Innovative Baggage-tracking Technologies:** Exploring new technologies that incorporate Wi-Fi tracking and sensor-enabled tags to provide accurate tracking information of baggage. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Travel and Tourism:** Incorporating the LugLoc into travel packages or as a complimentary service to guests to improve travel experience and customer satisfaction. - **Logistics and Transportation:** Partnering with airlines and shipping companies to offer a seamless, high-tech baggage tracking experience to their customers. - **Technology and Electronics:** Designing and developing the most advanced, intuitive baggage-tracking devices that are user-friendly and affordable for everyone. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Location-Tracking Luggage Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taglock-travel-lock.md) - [Trackable Smart Luggage](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casesafe.md) - [Luggage Tracking Safety Technologies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lost-luggage-tracker.md) - [Discreet Trackable Suitcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qantas-x-july.md) - [Mini Luggage-Compatible Trackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airtag.md) - [Airline Baggage Trackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luggage-losers.md) - [Connected Luggage Tags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knog-scout-travel.md) - [In-App Baggage-Tracking Features](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-canada-mobile-app.md) - [Tech-Equipped Suitcase Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oogo-smart-luggage.md)
