Nike celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with the release of its Los Primeros sneaker line, which was developed in collaboration with noted Hispanic street artists.

A vibrant purple shoe was crafted by the Chilean artist INTI, and features Latin-inspired symbols printed onto Nike's classic Cortez Shoe. Designed by Saner, the [Air Force 1](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chipotle-x-nike-air-force-1) sneaker underwent a Jaguar-themed makeover, which references the importance of the jungle cat in pre-Hispanic cultures. The Nike [Air Max 1](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nike-familia-collection) iteration was designed by the Chilean artist, Wasafu who drew inspiration for his shoe from the Ona people, a nearly extinct tribe located in the Patagonia region. Lastly, the Brazallian street artist Pomp revamped Nike's [Air Jordan](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/year-of-the-dragon1), with inspiration taken from the Brazilian phrase, “é tudo nosso,” which translates to “its all ours: mines and yours.”

Nike's Los Primeros sneaker line, fuses fashion with education, to celebrate the Hispanic influence within the United States.
