The artwork includes everything from [roller coaster couches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bio-pop) to a [filing cabinet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawing-series) with a far-reaching expandable drawer. Los Carpinteros is a pretty talented collection of artists, coming up with these wacky yet thought-provoking installations. The simplistic nature of the pieces makes them more interesting, in my opinion. **Implications** - Exhibits held by a collective of artists allows each creative mind to showcase their best pieces. Collective events such as Los Carpinteros can utilize more well-known artists names to help draw in a crowd while also giving exposure to unknown or lesser-known artists. Collectives also allow people to draw inspiration from the viewing and possibly make connections to an overall theme of the show. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.4/10 - Popularity: 99% | Activity: 84% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Collaborative Art Exhibits:** Collectives provide a platform for unknown or lesser-known artists to showcase their work alongside more well-known artists, drawing larger crowds and encouraging connections and inspiration. - **Humorous Furniture Design:** Artistic furniture design that combines humor and function creates unique and thought-provoking pieces that stand out in the market. - **Simplified Art Installations:** Simplistic design in art installations can add an interesting and understated element that sparks curiosity and creativity in viewers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art Exhibitions:** Collaborative art exhibits can bring attention to lesser-known artists and encourage connections and inspiration among artists and viewers. - **Furniture Design:** Humorous and creative furniture designs stand out in the market and offer a unique and fun addition to interior design options. - **Art Installations:** Simplified art installations can create a unique and interesting experience for viewers, encouraging curiosity and creativity. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dynamic Joint Furniture Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/please-sit-for-the-alternate-ending.md) - [Latin Playground-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-sum-of-small-parts.md) - [Playful Furniture Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playful-furniture-exhibit.md) - [Playful Structural Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palma-collection.md) - [Sizable Chair Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chair-installation.md) - [Playful Toy-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frunchroom-furniture-collection.md) - [Fantasy Sculptural Furniture Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chris-wolston.md) - [Domestic Artful Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculpted-series.md) - [Playful Wavy Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wavy-table-design.md)
