Fresh creative Mathieu Lahanneur recreates the look of water with [solid materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terra-frammenti) in his latest installation dubbed 'Liquid Marble' located in the Domaine de Chaumont-Sur-Loire Centre d’Arts et de Nature gardens. The art exhibit uses light from the sun and colored marble warped and into [wave-like shapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ripples-collection) to replicate the appearance of water so that from far away, the installation seems to be a [rectangular pool of liquid](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aqua-gallery).

The project was created using clear green marble that was altered using 3D software to replicate the aesthetic of waves. The glass sits across the courtyard of the garden and as the sun shines down on the green glass, the marble replicates the look of water in motion. Despite the object begin entirely solid, it looks realistically like moving water.
