While contemporary brands are downsizing and creating garments that rely on a minimalist aesthetic, luxe house Fendi is boldly continuing with the logo-centric fashion craze for the upcoming debut of its Fall/Winter 2018 menswear. The heavily branded appearance of the silhouettes is contained in the recurring element of the double F pattern.
While the dominance of the Fendi symbol signifies the luxury behind the designs, it also adds a certain artistic element to the Fall/Winter 2018 offerings. The lookbook for the upcoming logo-centric fashion collection is shot by Daniel Sannwald in an environment that signifies a travel-forward mentality. In this sense, Fendi is able to situate its menswear capsule in the context of the luxury traveler, all the while subtly highlighting its collaboration with luggage brand Rimowa.
