This is a completely new take and it should arouse some interest among tech enthusiasts. Although the Logitech Cube has the word 'cube' in it, the device takes on more of a rectangular shape. It's an ultra-portable mouse that easily fits in the palm of the hand. Like most of its kind, the Cube is completely wireless and has an on/off switch button to conserve power. What's different is that instead of the [scroll wheel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trackball-mouse), Logitech has incorporated a Flow Scroll software which means that scrolling is done by swiping the finger on top of the surface. When it's not being used as a mouse, the Cube can transition into Presenter mode, which is perfect for work. The Cube is available in black or white. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Ultra-portable Mouse:** The Logitech Cube introduces a new ultra-portable mouse design, providing an opportunity for innovation in the computer peripherals industry. - **Flow Scroll Software:** Logitech's incorporation of Flow Scroll software disrupts the traditional scroll wheel, opening up possibilities for software-based scrolling in the technology sector. - **Multi-purpose Peripherals:** The Logitech Cube's ability to transition into Presenter mode highlights the trend of multi-purpose peripherals, creating opportunities for innovation in the business and presentation industries. ### Who This Affects Most - **Computer Peripherals:** The Logitech Cube's unique design presents opportunities for innovation within the computer peripherals industry. - **Technology:** The incorporation of Flow Scroll software in the Logitech Cube creates opportunities for disruptive innovation in the technology industry. - **Business and Presentation:** The Logitech Cube's transition into Presenter mode opens up potential for disruptive innovation in the business and presentation industries. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Chromatic Hip Mini Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logitech-pop-mouse.md) - [Stealth Polygonal PC Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poly-mouse-concept.md) - [Steampunk Multifunctional Computer Mouse](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/d-mouse.md) - [Minimalist Shell-Like Mice](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fabio-verdelli-design-studio.md) - [Pocket-Sized Ergonomic Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/horizontal-mouse.md) - [Health-Conscious Mouse Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergo-ergonomic-mouse-concept.md) - [Ergonomic See-Through Computer Mice](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lunar-artefacts-pointer-instrument.md) - [Contoured Ergonomics Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logitech-lift-vertical-mouse.md) - [Modular Wireless Computer Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-nova.md)
