# Woodsy Music Studios The Log Cabin in the Netherlands is an Office in Disguise By Rose Nazarali | Published 2010-01-17 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/log-cabin References: [freshome](http://freshome.com/2010/01/16/the-log-house-music-and-architecture-combined/) & [pietheineek.nl](http://www.pietheineek.nl/) This Log Cabin, which can be found in The Netherlands, was designed by Piet Hein Eek to serve as a music studio for Hans Liberg. Resembling a cottage home, this log cabin provides Hans Liberg a quiet sanctuary. When the windows are closed on the Log Cabin, the structure simply looks like a pile of logs disguising the studio from any passersby. Check out the unique architecture in the gallery above! **Implications** - I am definitely looking forward to hearing some of the music produced in an alternative studio such as this one. I wonder how similar the music will sound in comparison to music that is typically recorded in a studio inside a building. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.0/10 - Popularity: 72% | Activity: 70% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Alternative Studio Design:** Designing alternative workspaces that blend into nature will become more popular. - **Hidden Industrial Design:** Innovative designs that hide or disguise industrial facilities will become increasingly common. - **Natural Sanctuary:** Creating peaceful natural sanctuaries for work and play will become a new trend. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** Architects will have more opportunities to design alternative workspaces that can blend seamlessly into natural surroundings. - **Music Production:** Music producers will have opportunities to create unique music studios that are designed to provide a peaceful and natural environment. - **Industrial Design:** Innovative designers will have opportunities to create designs that conceal industrial facilities and blend into natural surroundings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Earthy Tonal Tiled Sheds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-shed-1.md) - [Log Cabin-Inspired Minimal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/restua.md) - [Rustic Forest Timber Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rever-drage.md) - [Simplistic Tranquil Garden Studios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuinhuis-atelier.md) - [Circular Windowed Woodland Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/timber-nest.md) - [Minimal Bird-Watching Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hide-cabin.md) - [Modern Luxury Holiday Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yimura-cabins.md) - [Jet-Black Sustainable Artful Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-bua.md) - [Artistic Lakeside Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ely-retreat.md)
