It displaces dishes from crowded cabinets and doubles up as a [drying rack](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spaceefficient-drying). The tiny wall-mounted contraption incorporates a tray with drinking glass tracks and a [cutlery caddy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lollo) on top. The lower portion of the [compact culinary shelving unit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pli-steel-wall-shelf) has a bent metal bar that's intended for the suspension of assorted crockery. Loft by Quirky comprises a collection of utensils, cups, bowls and plates in addition to the dextrous frame. The eight ceramic pieces take lovely rounded diamond shapes and each integrates a tab with a hole in one corner. This feature allows the dishes to be dangled and eliminates any need to towel dry them off. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 58% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Wall-mounted Culinary Shelving:** Opportunity to create innovative kitchen storage solutions that save space and improve functionality. - **Multifunctional Dish Sets:** Chance to design dish sets that can serve multiple purposes, such as doubling as drying racks. - **Smart Dish Drying Technology:** Potential for developing dish designs with built-in drying mechanisms to streamline the dishwashing process. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Kitchenware:** Opportunity for kitchenware manufacturers to create space-saving and multi-functional dish sets. - **Interior Design:** Market potential for interior designers to incorporate wall-mounted culinary shelving in small living spaces. - **Home Appliances:** Possibility of appliance companies creating smart dish drying technology to reduce manual labor and improve efficiency in the kitchen. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Removable Plate Shelving Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gere-multifunctional-crockery-shelf.md) - [Space-Saving Cookwear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacesaving-cookware.md) - [Flat-Packed Sleek Dish Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aurea.md) - [Space-Conscious Kitchen Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnetic-kitchen-design.md) - [Chic Stackable Tableware Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tableware-ecosystem.md) - [Ceiling-Mounted Laundry Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goodliving.md) - [Countertop Crockery Sanitizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/utensil-disinfection-cabinet.md) - [Ergonomic Kitchen Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fotile-x20-max.md) - [Mess-Avoiding Dipping Dishes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dipidup.md)
