The Jink [location-sharing app](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snapchat-home-safe) is made to do one thing—make your whereabouts extremely clear to your friends. Developed by Greenhouse Apps, this app is comparable to Foursquare's Swarm, [Facebook's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kinnect) Nearby Friends and [Apple's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fingerfind) Find My Friends, but it does have some unique features to help it stand out in a market that's already saturated with location-pinpointing apps.

The aim of the Jink app is to make sharing your exact location as easy as calling or texting someone. When you want to share your location with a friend, the app displays a map of the city, so that when you and a friend are moving closer to one another, it's apparent. Rather than having to switch back and forth from Jink to a messenger, Jink simply has your chats pop up in bubbles over your point on the map.
