For consumers finding it challenging to get their hands on groceries during the COVID-19 pandemic, Local Public Eatery recently announced the launch of a virtual supermarket where shoppers can pick up fruits and veggies, and staples like bread, milk, butter, as well as pantry items such as sriracha, toilet paper, and booze. The restaurant will also allow consumers to pick up alcohol including wine and beer with the purchase of food.

Consumers can purchase these items using the Local Public Eatery and pick up the items at the door or order delivery using [Doordash](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pc-express-rapid-delivery). Shoppers will receive a 10 percent discount and are also eligible for free delivery and the virtual supermarket is open seven days a week.
