Lobster sourced from off the Pacific Coast of California and organic coconut flour are the only ingredients in the treat, which come together to form a nutrient-dense, ocean-fresh bite that's high in protein and naturally tempting because of its strong aroma. Functionally, the [single-source protein](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/finfare-pet-foods) in the Lobster & Organic Coconut Freeze-Dried Treats supports muscle health and energy, while organic coconut flour contributes fiber and healthy fats for digestive and skin health. And thanks to its [freeze-dried format](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freeze-dried-cheese-treats), these minimal-ingredient treats for dogs and cats are packed with locked-in nutrients and free from additives and preservatives. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 8% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 61% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Sustainable Pet Nutrition:** A growing focus on eco-friendly sourcing of ingredients like Pacific lobster is transforming pet nutrition into a sustainable practice. - **Minimal-ingredient Pet Products:** The rise of products with only a few natural ingredients, such as these two-ingredient pet treats, is catering to consumers looking for transparency and simplicity. - **Premium Pet Treats:** An increasing demand for high-quality, nutrient-dense pet treats is driving innovation in premium offerings, emphasizing novel proteins like lobster. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Pet Food Industry:** The introduction of novel proteins such as lobster indicates a trend towards diversification in the pet food industry. - **Sustainable Seafood Industry:** The use of sustainably sourced seafood highlights growth opportunities for the seafood industry within the pet nutrition market. - **Organic Food Industry:** With organic coconut as a key ingredient, there is a convergence between the pet food sector and the broader organic food industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Icy Animated Series Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/popsicle-bluey-ice-pop.md) - [Automated Pet Companion Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/enor-e1.md) - [Entertaining Pet Care Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuya-smart-aura.md) - [Pet-Friendly Presidential Stays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/presidents-day-packages.md) - [Dissolving Canine Wellness Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canine-wellness-products.md) - [Squeezable Pet Peanut Butter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bark-bistro.md) - [Cultivated Seafood Cat Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/friends-family-cat-cultivated-ocean-fish-cat-treats.md) - [Novel Protein Chews](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dognip.md) - [Cheesy Dog Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheesy-dog-treats.md)
