The walls are covered in stripes, which are in turn illuminated by RGB LED light bars, for a [large-scale art exhibit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spencer-finch) that is sure to take you into a trance. We've seen a giant revival in psychedelic and Surrealist-inspired art that's coincided with the rise in popularity of [LED lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-bulb). Check out some of my favorites following the gallery above. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Color-changing Installations:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for companies creating unique, large-scale art exhibits using RGB LED light bars. - **Psychedelic Art Revival:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for companies designing modern art inspired by Surrealist art using contemporary technologies. - **LED Lighting Creativity:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for companies experimenting with what is possible using LED lights in art installations. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for contemporary artists creating unique, large-scale art exhibits using RGB LED light bars. - **Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for lighting companies creating innovative lighting solutions that can be integrated into art exhibits. - **Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for companies that merge technology, art, and entertainment for immersive experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Immersive Light Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Interactive Light Experience](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/every-wall-is-a-door.md) - [Illuminated Curtained Light Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/making-the-invisible-visible.md) - [Orb Lighting Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mangrove-island.md) - [Marble-Patterned Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychedelic-interior.md) - [Math-Driven Lighting Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alba-light.md) - [Dazzling Gradient Lighting Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-bulb.md) - [Unique Interactive Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-aurora.md) - [Intricate Lighting Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/objects-of-common-interest1.md)
